Compared to the first test in the course, I found the second one particularly hard. I feel I should have studied the theory portion of OS and Hardware much better. At first I wasn't too confident about the part with the Dr.Racket questions, but when I followed the function step-by-step, I was able to figure it all out. I believe that Racket is really easy if you have patience and think logically. I hope I can get a good grade in this test too!

First Blog
Hello,
This is my first blog ever and I would like to talk about my experience with CSC104 till now. I use my computer for everything and its like my life revolves around it. Assignments, readings, social networking, tv shows and everything else is done on my computer. Understanding how my computer has evolved and been put to work has been very interesting. I take my computer for granted almost always, and this is the first time I'm actually looking into how this device functions.
I find this course particularly interesting because its very different from the other courses I'm taking at university. Its more technical and less abstract. I get lost with Dr. Racket a little bit, but if I go step-by-step, it turns out to be very logical.
I just submitted my first project on friday. At first sight it looked really hard, I just couldn't understand anything! But then I looked over it very systematically and with the help of Dr. Heap I actually managed to like the project and complete it without struggling last minute!
I hope the rest of this course goes well too! Looking forward to learning new things!
